(Translated by Google) I discovered Capo Galera by pure chance: a lady sitting next to me on the plane had talked to me very well about it just a couple of weeks earlier. Since I really like the Sardinian land, the people and (why not?!?) Also the food, once back home I say to myself “why not leave again at the end of October and enjoy a few more days of peace and tranquility? rest holidays must be taken away from the summer months, from everything and everyone, especially when you are in the initial phase of burn out from other waves (those of the markets) “. So I decide to turn off the PC and take a flight. Arriving at the airport in Alghero, the first thing I do is to go straight to the diving center to get to know me and maybe do a couple of dives in the following days (it was 15 years that I hadn’t done any more, although I would have liked to become an instructor as soon as I obtained the first two patents). After having decided and asked to do a review with the professional and nice Riccardo, the next day I find my usual enthusiasm with a fantastic dive in the Nereo caves accompanied by Alessandro: professional, nice and above all able to convey enthusiasm in everything he does (and he is not for everyone!). Needless to say, I immersed myself in the Red Sea, but the Sardinian sea is just as incredible: entering the cave (the image you see in my review), in the dark, I light up a small ravine and discover a moray eel, then a lobster and who the more he has the more he puts. Another dive follows with Andrea who under water was able to make concentric circles of air bubbles that attracted fish, something I had never seen done when I got my certificates. In any case: the center is highly recommended: professionalism and enthusiasm on the part of those who have managed to turn their passion into a job. And all this he also transmits to others. One last compliment goes to the cook: I am not a lover of amatriciana, but I must say that hers was TOP! A final positive aspect is that the center remains open until the end of October / early November unlike many other places. And I would say that from the number of tourists I saw around it was a great idea! I will certainly return, perhaps to continue my courses and become an instructor too sooner or later … I wouldn’t mind the idea, even if I already like what I do! a greeting to all the Pier staff
