Lele was a stellar ambassador for Ocean Connect! He provided an A+ pool refresher so I could polish up on those PADI skills before dive day. Luisa was a fun, attentive and informative dive instructor, highlighting things like the jeweled eel and puffer fish, but the 6M across manta ray required no introduction and was the highlight of the dive. If you’re undecided on a dive shop, Ocean Connect is a non profit supporting important local initiatives like life guards for beaches, and swim lessons for locals AND they’re right on the beach where you can walk from booking to diving. – via

Increible experiencia! Muy amables y profesionales los instructores( Lele y Yehudi) Uno se siente muy comodo y seguro. Me gusto mucho que te hacian saber por medio de una pequeña pizarra el animal al que se estaba viendo y cargaban una lupa para ver los pequeños animalitos. Definitivamente volveria de nuevo, 100% recomendado el buceo con ellos. – via

Depart on an epic dive with true professionals within the dive industry to Catalina Islands from this beautiful property! Then, return to hang out at the Costa Rica Sailing Center to enjoy the beautiful beach over a beer or marg at Hemingway’s Bar and Restaurant all on the same property!!! What an awesome day!!! – via

This was my first open water experience. The entire staff was incredible! It was a smaller boat, so I felt very comfortable since it felt like a one on one dive. We were able to schedule last minute and get on a boat the next day. The guides pointed out all kinds of aquatic life that I definitely would have missed. If we are ever back in Costa Rica, we will be using them again! – via

I did two days of diving at the Catalina’s, one with OceanConnect and the other with an operator that picked up by boat but is based outside of Potrero. The day with OceanConnect was amazing, far better. From the care and treatment of guests, to the attention to detail and education about the diving, to the exceptional DM/Instructor Lele (such a great guy!) and clear committment to safety. Many of these things I might not have appreciated quite so much without the second day of diving, which was…poorly run, unfortunately. The difference in cost is minimal (diving is expensive, let’s face it). My feeling is that you will have a much better experience with OC (example: with the other operator, the DM swam over a shark and didn’t see/point it out to the group, and on the second dive the group of mostly Open Waters was accidentally led on a deco dive…yikes!). Not to mention the good vibes from the cool community work OceanConnect is doing…highly recommend! – via

Fue increíble… primero hice un discover con ellos! Ernst Poll y una chica que se llama Mareska fueron mis guías y me sentí muy seguro, gracias a ellos decidí iniciar el Open Waters con Connect Ocean y mi instructor fue Leandre Barry, un instructor con mucha paciencia y muy bueno explicando, inspira confianza. Recomiendo al 100% realizar los curso con Connect Ocean y las inmersiones fueron increíble llenas de vida marina. – via

Absolutely fantastic diving experience all around! The crew: Risky, LeiLei, machete and Cappy were all so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The boat itself maxes out at 10 divers so you don’t feel crowded or crammed. And of course, the diving here in Costa Rica was stunning. 100% would recommend diving with Connect Ocean and we will for sure be back! – via Google

My wife and I came to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and were lucky enough to stay next to ConnectOcean. We had always wanted to scuba dive and these guys made our dream come true. Risky gave us a fantastic training session the day before, the next we were in the water seeing the most incredible fish! The crew was extremely professional, safe, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We always felt comfortable and in control. Cannot thank Ernst, Risky, Machete, Cappy and the rest enough for truly memorable time. These guys are super fun! Absolutely recommend! – via Google

The absolute best diving experience I have ever had. All the dive locations are teeming with sea life and the guides know what it all is and where it all hides. The crew (Risky, Lele, and Machete) are the nicest DMs in the business while being both incredibly professional and safe; and Cappy, the captain, is the happiest person in the world. I will definitely be returning to dive with them the next time I find myself in Guanacaste. I would absolutely recommend this crew to anyone visiting the area, from beginner to advanced. – via Google

Surely one of the best dive experiences I’ve ever encountered. The actual dive experience was incredible with abundance of sea life! Saw turtles everywhere white tip reef sharks moray eels incredibly beautiful reef fish octopus and humpback whales!
Although the diving was spectacular the entire crew with connect ocean is what made the experience so valuable. The dive masters and Ernst Are doing incredible things with their education with anybody who dives with them in the local community. Their focus on marine environment It’s not only educational but extremely critical to saving our oceans. I will definitely be back to dive with this amazing group! – via Google
