Exceptional operation! I dove with them over several day and cannot recommend them enough. Guides were friendly and very helpful providing assistance and skill improvement suggestions. I barely had my BC off after the first dive and a new tank was loaded. Lunch was FANTASTIC! Way beyond anything I could have possibly expected. Soem of the best meals I had while in Cozumel. Headed back to dive with them again very soon. Thank you! – via google

This review is one for the books because there are not enough good things to say about this amazing outfit. Lupita worked hard to secure a last-minute dive, for my son and me, despite having a port closure. She is kind, patient, professional and went above and beyond to get us scheduled. As new divers doing a checkout dive, we were unsure of the normal procedures, but she took the time to explain everything that we needed to get underway.

My son couldn’t wait to get into the water. Well, the pool water dive is much different from the open water dive. My son was a natural but I was a little nervous. Ok… a lot nervous. Arturro & crew worked with me to make sure I was safe, and comfortable and had mastered the skills before doing our first dive. My fear turned to total wonder upon seeing all the beautiful fish. The best part was the huge grin on my son’s face upon returning to the boat. He said it was one of the best days of his life. Without this crew, the day would not have been possible.

No crew or divemaster is more professional, kind, or safe. I am so grateful for this experience and for this introduction to scuba. Can’t wait for next time! – via google

My kids (ages 10 and 13) and I just did three dives yesterday on a private through Deep Exposure. They are junior SDI OW certified, with about 15 dives in the last two months in TX quarries. My boyfriend and I have always been going to this SHOP for many years . The whole crew from the captain to dive masters Roger and Lucas and the sailor, wow, they have been SUPER amazing. They made VERY good lunches, took good care of us, friendly and funny. They even got me a birthday cake for my birthday. Where else do I get that treatment? I will come to them each time that I visit Cozumel. That is a guarantee! Thanks to the whole crew for making my vacation so amazingly enjoyable! YOU ARE THE BEST! – via google

Deep Exposure Dive Center made our dive trip easy, organized and wonderful! Paulina was so helpful in scheduling trips with our large group and the dive masters Lucas & Arturo, our trip was amazing. The meals on the boats and the surface intervals were the best that I’ve had on a dive boat, it was fabulous. Everyone was extremely accommodating and hospitable. The reefs they took us to were so beautiful and they even kept our BCDs throughout the week which was a huge perk. Some members of our group went snorkeling while the rest dove, this was a great way for all of us to stay together and have fun. I hope all future dive trips are this amazing. Thank so much deep exposure team and I look forward to my next visit to Cozumel! – via google

I’m sorry to say that I did not have the greatest experience with Instructor Roger from Deep Exposure shop. I dove 1 full day with 2 tanks and had to cancel my reservation and went elsewhere.

I’ve never seen a guide take so many photos, not even of us but the fish, to the point were I and some other members were ahead and had wait for him to finish… I also saw him being clumsy with the environment, I have always been told to never hit or touch coral and I see this guys fins just flap about into stuff.

When my air was low he deployed a shoot and told me to go up, I guessed by myself… I never ascended alone before but I guess I can do it with my computer. I have about 50 dives in 5 years. Advance. Wasn’t the most confident, it definitely wasn’t in the briefing….but I got through it with my training. When it happened again on the second dive I wasn’t that surprised and went with it. My air was definitely below 500 psi both times but that’s on me, I think.

He wasn’t really personable, mostly stuck to the crew talking amongst themselves. It just didn’t feel very professional.

Lupita at the front desk, however, was very helpful and super nice. I book through reviews and I just wanted to add my part if it helps anyone. – via google

I booked a day dive trip with Deep Exposure at a very last minute (less than 15 hrs) via internet booking/whatsapp. The response was very prompt and immediate. Lupita got back to and we manage to confirm everything within 30 mins.

The day of the dive went smoothly – greeted by a female staff in the morning for equipment & paperwork.

Group was kept to 4 divers to 1 guide.

The dive boat is comfortable and well maintained.

Roger was my guide. He’s very experience and know the dive sites very well. He’s fun, energetic and always keep the group in interaction.

It’s my first time diving here in Cozumel, & I have no expectations. Visibility was excellent. Coral reefs look healthy.

The other boat crew, Captain Geovani and Raul are helpful and friendly.

Thanks for giving me a wonderful day of diving in paradise on my birthday.

Deep Exposure is my main go to when I dive in Cozumel. Roger the Mayan Diver is my favorite Dive Master and is really into details when it comes to leading a dive party. He makes it fun and entertaining.

This was my third time with Deep Exposure and my experience was kind of off this time. We (four of us) were put on Deep Exposure II (2nd boat, smaller for diving, same great service, just smaller) and the Dive Master was not as thorough as I like. I am not sure but maybe he was having a bad day. We had two new divers and the Dive master did not go through details or anything before the dive. This was the first day.

The second day we had Roger. He was fun and energetic and thorough with our two new divers. He went through all the steps, signs and explained the whole dive before we got in the water. The only thing I had an issue with was that the owner was on the boat, never met him before, and did not really seem to care if we were there or not. He mentioned that he lost money for some reason with the boat (Weather, covid, I am not sure) and was not really into his customers.

I will use them again and I look forward to seeing Roger The Mayan Diver and the Captain again in the future.

I will be very surprised if there is a response to this review, I did not see any on the others. – via google

Just returned from a week long trip with a large group diving with Deep Exposure, could not have asked for a better experience. Hat tip to Paulina and everyone topside for being so accommodating of a large group with frequent changes in plans, and to absolutely everyone on crew or in the water with us – we dove primarily with Lucas and Arturo, and with 300+ dives under my belt, I’d call this my best dive trip to-date – relaxed but professional atmosphere that was fantastic for both novice and experienced divers in our group. Already planning our trip back! – via google
