I did my PADI open water scuba certification with Paulina at Diversity Diving. She was an excellent coach, made sure I understood everything and made the experience fun while covering everything that PADI required to pass. The equipment loaned to us for use was newer and well cared for. She was as excited as we were to see the sea turtles, eagle rays, sting rays, barracuda, tropical fish, and moray eels during our practice dives on the ocean reefs.
Everyone at this diving centre was pleasant, kind and happy to help. I strongly recommend this diving centre! – via

Los recomiendo ampliamente, desde el inicio de la reserva hasta el último de la experiencia.
Yo hice buceo sin estar certificada y todo el tiempo me sentí segura. Te explican todo lo necesario para la aventura. Y no se diga lo hermoso que es debajo del agua. No dejen pasar esta experiencia. Busquen a Paloma, cuenta con todas las certificaciones. – via

I highly recommend this buisness. Diversity was my choice for 3 cenote dives a shark dive and a reef dive. The business is very professional and Gustavo was a pleasure to do business with. He was extremely responsive over what’s app and email as I booked my trip about a week and change before I arrived to playa de Carmen.

If you are looking for a top shop in PDC this is your spot. If you search the scuba subs on reddit you will also see this is a highly recommended spot. – via

I have been diving with Diversity Diving in Playa del Carmen, Mexico since 2016, and it has been an outstanding experience every time. The owner, Gustavo, is an absolute genius when it comes to diving, and he has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to the local dive sites and marine life. He is always fun to dive with, and he makes sure that everyone on the boat has an amazing time.

The dive sites in Playa del Carmen are truly spectacular, and Diversity Diving knows all the best spots. They take you to some of the most beautiful reefs, caves, and wrecks in the area, which are teeming with marine life. The dives are always well-planned and executed, and the safety of the divers is always the top priority. The Cenotes of course are as well a huge highlight and Diversity takes you to all of them!

The boat, La Raya, is also in great condition and provides a comfortable and safe diving experience. It is well-maintained, and the crew is friendly and helpful. The boat rides to and from the dive sites are comfortable and enjoyable.

I have made many friends (Gus, Meghan, Francesca, Kike, Paloma, Patrick, Pao, Gansito just to name a few) along the way diving with Diversity Diving, and that is one of the best things about this dive shop. Not only you will have an unforgettable dive experience but also you will make friends with other divers. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, and Gustavo’s passion for diving and marine life is contagious.

Overall, I highly recommend Diversity Diving to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, you’re guaranteed to have an amazing time diving with Gus and his team. They will make sure that you have a great time and will make sure that you will come back for more. Come as a guest, leave as a friend…
