El Mar is great customer service, my greatest find in Arizona.
The refresher course is amazing, everyone should take it every 3-5 years. It’s not only a great refresher, but I learned things about my BCD that I wish I knew when I bought it in 2005 when I was first was certified. El Mar refresher course is a ten star that’s worth every penny. – via

I can’t say enough good things about this dive shop! Been coming here for over 14 years. Their pool renovation looks amazing and I can’t wait to get back in it! The shop has an upper and lower level of retail space. Tons of inventory on-hand that is always super competitively priced. If you need to shop for gear, this is THE place! I’ve taken a few advanced scuba classes here and a basic free diving course. Such a diverse and fun group of people to be around! – via

Where do I start…how about with this shop is AMAZING!
Just got my open water SCUBA diving certification through them and what a huge accomplishment this was for me. The fears and nightmares I had to overcome were pretty exhausting, as I had every irrational fear you can think of about being in the ocean and underwater. The whole experience couldn’t have been further from my nightmares and was pretty incredible! Everybody at the shop was super helpful and my instructor Greg Allen was fantastic. He had to continually calm me down and let me know everything is going to be just fine, which it absolutely was! If you are in the same boat I was, take a leap of faith…you won’t regret it! – via
