I was really happy with the awesome customer service I got over the phone for an order I was placing. I was leaving for a trip in a few days and had ordered diving masks from another company, who never sent them out. I called House of Scuba and was helped by a woman (I can’t recall her name) but she was so helpful and friendly and helped me figure out how to get my masks before my trip with expedited shipping. She took the order over the phone and even rushed the packaging for me. I think her name began with an S. Anyway, I just really appreciate the willingness to help. She could have told me to order online with expedited shipping and sent me on my way but she took the time to help me personally with the order. The kindness didn’t go unnoticed. I was very impressed by House of Scuba’s service. I placed an order and unfortunately it was on back order. I understand, that happens, but they personally reached out immediately to let me know and find out when my trip was to see if the delay would cause a problem or if there was some other way to address my need. I was impressed by that. And in the end, I wound up getting my new wetsuit the day before I originally thought I would get it in the first place. For being an all on-line experience, I felt like this was high touch service and I appreciated their extra effort. – via google

Ordered a used Atomic Scuba Regulator set from them and trusted the Test Results they posted in the listing. Everything looked legit.

When I received the Regulator and wanted to try the fit of the mouth peice, I tasted SALT WATER. The regulator had not even been rinsed in Fresh Water.

I immediately rushed it over to my local shop who has been servicing my equipment for years for Testing and Servicing. BOTH 2nd stage regulators were Free Flowing and blew SAND. The 1st stage pressure was all over the place.

What House of Scuba is doing is Dangerous and is going to get somebody very seriously injured or worse – via google

Booked a one tank dive and had a wonderful time.
Julian and Michael were safety focused, but still wanted to make sure it was a fun experience.
It’s a shame that environment conditions were cloudy/low visibility but we got to see beautiful kelp forest, sea lions, and lobsters!

Marcelo is a fantastic instructor. I took a pool refresher course this past weekend with him.. I only had about 20 dives under my belt before I stopped diving two years ago. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was a little concerned that my knowledge deficit would be huge. Marcelo took me through 3 hours of skills and knowledge patiently repeating anything I needed more help with. I learned so much from him in addition to the things that I had forgotten. He put me at ease, explained everything in a way that made it easy to remember, and encourage me constantly. I am so glad that I took this class and that Marcelo was my instructor – via Google

Along with the other reviews I agree that the staff is friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. I want to add how impressed I am with their teaching. I went for a pool refresher with a different instructor the other day and while waiting because I arrived early I watched Daryl teaching a class by the pool. He was explaining equipment and how to put it on and connect it all. I learned so much from him just watching for that 20 minutes even though I have been diving for two years. He was clear, patient, explained everything so it could be understood by all. When I had done my training in another state I had felt like an idiot the whole time because I didn’t understand what was being told to me in such a quick manner. I figured I was the only one. Now looking back I realize that probably everybody was feeling that way. I expect in Daryl‘s class that was not the case. He answered questions and helped people in a way that made them glad they asked. Kudos Daryl. – via Google

A big shout out to Tyler she is the type of employee that House of Scuba MUST retain(please give her a raise). I live in Arizona and my husband had several issues getting warranty work completed with our local shop due to their unprofessional behavior(i.e. leaving wetsuit in the “backroom for 3 months prior to processing for warranty work”. Tyler reached out to me today to ensure everything was good to go 6 months later. Not to mention she had one follow up call after our initial contact to ensure the process has started and this time she called to tell me a specific update about the turn around time Aqua Lung provided her. My wetsuit arrived with no issues and under its estimated time frame. I will only be shopping here and informing others about my experience with House of Scuba. It’s such a relief to know your a call away from being in good hands.

Again, please reward Tyler for doing her job and doing it well. It’s what will keep House of Scuba in business for years to come. – via Google
