Always a pleasure to dive with Salty Endeavors. We have stayed in various areas of Cozumel and they always come and pick us up at a nearby pier. Good boats that can handle any rough waves, never crowded and they take us wherever we want to dive. Fruit and water onboard and just great service the whole way. Will return soon. – via google

My husband and I dove for 5 days with Salty and it was great! Good dive briefings and happy to answer additional questions. If you want specific sites, don’t be afraid to ask. We ended up doing our Nitrox cert through them too and were happy with that. The pier pickup is so convenient! If you’re leaving your gear with them, just make sure you have everything before you’re at the dive site- I had a small thing missing one day but that’s nobody’s fault. They’re managing three different boats and dozens of sets of equipment, including cleaning it every night, so it is truly impressive to be able to stroll onto the boat to your gear already there. Thanks Freddy, Joss, Martin, and Guillermo! – via google

Came to PDC on vacation, we hadn’t used salt endeavors prior to this trip, and I’m not typically one to leave reviews. But I had to give a shout out to these guys! The first dive was incredible! I have less than 15 dives overall under my belt, Francisco was very accommodating in making sure I had all of my gear dialed in. Upon descent I was experiencing sinus squeeze and he descended with me face to face to ensure I would get down without any issue. Took us on a wonderful dive and we were very happy with him and the captain! The next trip was two days later, we went with another dive master named Isidro and was not disappointed, he was very relaxed and knowledgeable of the area! On this dive we did 4 swim throughs that were very cool, saw a nurse shark, and an eagle ray! After the trip I forgot my go-pro and goggles on the boat. I was really upset with myself, so I called the dispatcher and these guys actually took the time to meet me at the ferry terminal in cozumel to return my gear! We will definitely be using salty endeavors as our main shop in cozumel from here on out!

TLDR/ they are an incredible, well organized dive shop and we will definitely be diving with them again in the future! Special thanks to Francisco and Isidro for your level of professionalism and knowledge! – via google

We were diving the second week of Feb. 2024. Salty picked us up at the dock at our hotel, El Presidente. We dove with them 5 days. They take care of our equipment between dives to make it much easier for us. Dive boats are limited to 6-8 divers and were very comfortable. We were fortunate to meet several dive masters and boat captains. All were very experienced, professional and friendly. They went out of their way to help us and ensure we have a great dive experience. We will Definitely dive with Salty Endeavors on our next visit to Cozumel. – via google

Great experience. Went diving with them during a stop on a cruise ship last week. They made everything easy with good directions to the pickup point, good equipment, and a great dive master, Freddy. He was very professional, safety conscious, and entertaining. I highly recommend bringing a “safety sausage” (surface marker buoy) because there are strong currents around Cozumel and it’s easy to get separated from the group and there are lots of boats transiting the area. After diving they dropped me off near the cruise terminal with hours to spare before departure. A great experience. Highly recommended. – via google

Great outfit. Only one day with Salty but will be my go-to next trip for certain. Exceptional dives (Dalilah Reef and Paso del Cedral) despite not great weather week. Divemaster had hands full at times with a couple newbies but kept all under control and both dives full 60 minutes. I have done a fair number of solo dives in Bonaire and Curacao and these were the first group dives I have ever felt that same freedom. Well done! They also email a log of the dives – nice! Had car so parked at the port. I recommend. – via google

Just want to say thanks to you guys for taking care of us for a whole week. We’ve had an absolutely unforgettable time diving with you everything was as promised and expected. Special thanks to all the boat captains and dive masters who helped us and it was really nice having Doug from Edmonton training to be a dive master on board. He’s a super guy too!
Thanks again and we look forward to our next trip. 100% will be diving with you again! – via google

5.0/ 5

My wife booked a cruise for us on the Celebrity Beyond. Cozumel was one of the ports. How could I be in Cozumel and not Scuba dive on one of their amazing reefs? I was very concerned about being delayed on the dive and missing the departure of the ship. I contacted many dive operators in Cozumel none of which made me feel comfortable with my concern. I contacted Henry at Salty Endeavors. He took his time and explained the entire process to me and assured me that I would be back in more than enough time to be back. They picked me up on time at the agreed upon pick up location which was a 5 minute walk from the ship.
The two dives were fantastic. Clear water and warm water (For February). The crew was very helpful and knowledgeable. Anyone arriving on a cruise ship wanting to dive in Cozumel, look no further than Salty Endeavors. By the way our ship arrived at 7:am and departed at 3:30pm. – via google

5.0/ 5

I spent my first real, salt water dive with Salty Endeavors. I told our dive master that I was a rookie with less than 10 dives and he was super cool, helpful and careful. Questioned me about everything, rehearsed basics, described our dives, bottom time, depth, forseeable terrain and conditions, safety stop etc. everything. When we entered water it was heavily raining but it could not disturb our dive. The divemaster balanced my bouyancy with additional weights and paid attentiont to my rookie moves at the beginning. Then everything calmed down and I had nothin to do just keep piking up my jaws from the sand. The reefs (Santa Rosa and Tormentos) we visited were absolutely amazing. We had a quite a current but it only was strong enough to ride it and be amazed by the reefs. Our dive master was a true eagle eye, spotting fish buried under the sand. We saw: a manta, moray eel, parrot fish, scorpion fish, flowfish, parrot fish and many more. I only brought my mask and rented every other equipment from Salty. Everything worked just fine, computer was included.
I’d like to thank you Salty this experience, I’ll never forget that I had my very first salt water dive with you and how amazing you were <3 – via google

5.0/ 5

We came to Cozumel with the plan on getting SCUBA certified, as beginners. We were able to finish the online class work ahead of time which is recommended and saves you classroom time while in Mexico.

Without a doubt, our two instructors Jose and Guiermo were the highlight of our adventure. They were both extremely patient, knowledgeable and so easy to work with. We don’t know about the other instructors, but if they are anything like these 2 were, you are in good hands. Ask for these two hombres by name if you want a guaranteed great experience. They were the best.

Needless to say, we are thrilled to have passed the class and are now certified divers!

We highly recommend salty endeavors is the bottom line.

Gracias Jose y Guiermo!!!!! – via google

5.0/ 5

I had a wonderful experience with the whole team at Salty on my vacation to Cozumel in January 2023! I booked with them as they picked me up at my hotel pier (even covered the fee the hotel usually charges), and promised to do all the heavy work so the divers can just show up and dive. They gave me a working solution to deal with the chills I’m prone to, and an easy shore refresher dive to get my fins wet after not diving for quite some time. Every staff member I dealt with was knowledgeable, adhered to safety standards, friendly, and professional. They also put effort into diving sites that nobody on the boat each day had dove before, for a new experience every time. And of course fresh water and snacks at each surface interval. Would highly recommend diving with this company, and I hope to return to do so again! Thanks again for a wonderful experience, Salty! – via google
