We used UC for our scuba certification. Everything was really easy and our instructors were very helpful and capable. My open water guy Alex got me settled when I definitely panicked. No way I could have went back down without his help. Top notch staff and equipment. We are totally happy and would highly recommend them for any scuba needs. – via
Stephanie and Jim are passionate about scuba diving, and their knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport comes across in everything they do.
Their approach to teaching is second to none. They are not simply providing you with a training course, they are working to make you the best and safest diver you can be, whether it’s spending time getting you in the right equipment, making sure you understand the concepts of safe diving, or ensuring your body position in the water is perfect.
It’s said your first diving course can be life-changing, and it’s safe to say Jim and Steph will deliver on that. You’ll want to go diving every weekend after certifying with them.
On the point of safety, Jim came to my aid after a diving incident earlier this year. That I was able to emerge from the incident fit and well was thanks to his prompt and professional actions. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. – via

Steph and Jim always do a fantastic job. If you are looking for dive or scuba gear, they will spend the time making sure you have the correct gear. They have a great selection of gear in store for you to try and will happily order gear if they don’t have it available because you want it ALL to be “Tiffany Teal” or another color. I did my padi scuba cert through them and they took the time to make sure I felt comfortable in the water. Their group trips to other countries like Mexico and Roatan are fun. When you go on a trip with them, you go on dives that other divers might not be able to AND get to know other people from the Lake Country Area (and a little beyond) that love diving too. Plus, they offer several local options to make sure you are staying up to date on diving. I would not trust anyone else when it comes to teaching me, my dive equipment, and servicing it. Stop in…you will be glad you did! – via

They were AMAZING!! I went there to get my PADI dive certification and I can not express how nice they were. They took the time to teach everything that we need to know plus some tips. If we had any trouble they would stop the class or have another teacher help that student which is not only sacrificing “precious pool time” but teaching the course well. Also, when you are in the shop they are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to choosing your equipment. This was my first time scuba diving and even though I have other people that were helping me choose I still needed that extra expertise. Luckily for me they were there exactly when I needed them and were willing to help me out to find things that fit me well and they even explained to me that I might want to switch my equipment after my first dive. I really appreciate all the work that you do there. And that is why I give them a 5/5.
